Will Golden State Follow Tradition and Visit the White House?

NBA Champions Golden State Warriors won their 3rd championship title yesterday. Reports went out that the team had unanimously decided to decline the offer to visit the White House.

This is a tradition celebrated by mostly all sports once winning a title. Golden State visited President Obama durning his term on both of their previous winnings but just recently, several members of the New England Patriots declined to visit the White House when they won the NFL championship game.

Golden State did release a statement saying they had not even received an invitation to unanimously make a decision. When the time comes to make that decision that is what they will do. For now focusing on the win and engaging in that moment is all they are concerned with.

With the team being predominantly black and non-Trump voters I am sure the decision that will be made is to opt out, who wants to see Trump?
