Faith Inspired Boxer, Andre Ward Nominated for Best Fighter at Espy 2017

2017 Espy Awards will air on ESPN July 12th and boxer Andre Ward is nominated for best fighter.

Growing up in San Francisco, Andre's father took him to a boxing gym in Oakland when he was 9 and his grandmother trained him up until today. From there he has gone on to be ranked the worlds best boxer, pound for pound and the the worlds best light heavyweight.

Andre has expressed that his faith in God gives him the courage he needs to face his fears. "We all have to face fear, we face it in different ways, but I constantly pray for courage and he gives it to me"
