An Open Letter to Our Sister Beth Moore
What you did in writing “A Letter to My Brothers” was led by God. It was needed and took a lot of courage. However, it is our prayer and hope that you will not make this and some of the other issues you had to deal with concerning men into a crusade. God raised you up “for such a time as this,” and by the grace of God, you delivered the message God wanted you to deliver. You did what you could. By the way, we at BCNN1 are the ones who wrote the article titled: “With “A Letter to My Brothers,” Prophetess Beth Moore Will be Remembered in Church History With the Likes of Martin Luther King Jr., Billy Graham, Anne Graham-Lotz, and Other Church Leaders“.
As you know better than most, many women in the church are disobedient to the Word of God and they are suffering from their disobedience to the Holy Scriptures that you love so much. We thank God for the few good, faithful women in the church who are striving to be a Proverbs 31 virtuous woman. But as you know, there are many Proverbs 14:1 women, which states: “Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.” These are wives and mothers who are tearing down their households by disrespecting their husbands, dishonoring their husbands, harboring bitterness and resentment, refusing to submit to their own husbands, unwilling to have sex with their husbands, not taking care of their children, not keeping their house clean, and yet, they present themselves as the most spiritual women in the church. Charles Spurgeon said, “God save us all from wives who are angels in the streets, saints in the church and devils at home.”
These sinful behaviors by wives and mothers are a huge problem in the home that has destroyed many marriages and the lives of the innocent children caught in the middle. Sadly, it is also negatively affecting the church.
Sister Moore, it would be wonderful if you or somebody, along with other women, would begin teaching women the Holy Word of God that directly pertains to them regarding being in subjection to their husbands, honoring their husbands, respecting their husbands, loving their husbands and children, taking care of their children, keeping their houses clean, choosing to be pleasant and all of these things regardless of the kind of husband they are married to according to I Peter 3:1-6, and also begin teaching women the importance of dressing modestly. It is so bad now that women are going to church in yoga pants and skinny jeans. If you want to help men out, this is a good area to begin, plus, it will help wives to hold on to their husbands.
You said in your powerful “Letter to My Brothers” that you never wanted to preach to men; you only wanted to teach women. We pray and hope that you will resume that great ministry with a focus on these verses addressed to females in the Word of God
:
Proverbs 12:4: “A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.”
Proverbs 14:1: “Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.”
