“Ladies with a Hat”

”The Not So Christian In Me Show” (Field Correspondent @kemmy_fromtheblock ) attended Ladies in the Hat, Latina Edition, an Arts of Diversity Project presented by Harambee Art Gallery. Directed by Oni Muhammad and debuting at Mixed Emotions Fine Art & Frames at 95 Tuam Street, Houston, TX 77006.

This was a interactive showcase that took you on a journey back in time with phenomenal ladies in their hat and shared stories of strength, perseverance, and fabulous style!

Ladies in the Hat (#LITH) is an Arts of Diversity Project that exhibits an amazing collection of over 100 vintage hats owned by Houstonian, Paula McHam, through first and third person, fiction, and nonfiction theatrical monologues and skits. The hats will serve as a platform to heal, enlighten, and bring forth a new energy to women from the present and past whose experiences are often mistold or under-represented in storytelling.

Which hat are you wearing?
