Asap Preach Makes CHH Full Time Plus New Music From KD The 7th Son, Richard Cutright & Canada

This week on The Blessed Beatz Live Show ASAP Preach joins us in the artist spotlight and talks going from not being about to rap at all to stepping out on faith in the genre . Host Marcus Sullivan has the top 10 songs of the week and new artist KD7, Majestic J, & DJLC brings the heat in the new music.

As a former tattoo artist Asap says he got the name from the tattoo industry. ' I was already "preach' because when I went to prison I was already preaching to people." "When I got home I became a tattoo artist and marketing getting tatted ASAP." says Asap Preach. It was his wife that told him to put the two names together. He says he didn't want the name to be a mock up of current mainstream artist names such as Asap Ferg or Asap Rocky so she said it could mean "Always Say A Prayer"!!! @MisterCutright This record is a really special one to me bc it took over a year to get here. I was coming out of am unhealthy place mentally (battling depression and suicidal thoughts) when I wrote and was so hype about releasing it...then Covid hit & I found myself trying to stay above the waves of depression that were trying to wash me away. After several attempts and almost a year after being written, I was able to lay this down this past December. Six months later here we are...shouts out to those brothers and sisters who lifted me up and helped pull me out when I was drowning. This one is for yall!
